Amnesty International’s campaign to reduce maternal mortality in Burkina Faso is launched together with a report on 27 January 2010, which explains why over 2000 women die every year from pregnancy and childbirth related complications. Following the report launch, an awareness raising caravan is touring the country from 28 January to 9 February.
